Well, here leading the Queen of spades causes all sort of confusion. Partner has to figure that you have 8 diamonds and by not leading the Ace of Diamonds, that it is headed by the Jack. Likely, void in Hearts too. So, the Queen lead in addition to promising the Jack probably shows 4 spades (a reason to go slow and hope partner bids spades), but at a min 3 of them. Not getting the Diamond ruff on trick two benefits the declarer. Morever, I duck the third rounds of spades, because either declarer is out and going to ruff or my partner must have started with QJ9 for his opening lead. Gift trick #2. Recovery could have been done now, if the Ace and anther diamond are played, but partner is still thinking he doesn't want to play the Ace and lose the King. Contract makes, when it should be down 2, bottom boardsville
BBO has recently made Robots an option to use to fill in for a missing or Sitout player. We've currently used Sub/Volunteer players for open games and for limited games we just had a Sitout
